It’s Manhole Monday! Comparing covers from different cities never gets old for me especially when the covers are for the same thing like these. The Bell System cover that was taken in Atlanta is a very common cover found in Southeastern cities in the United States. What I love about this cover is how the letters and illustration have swollen over time. The counters of the B have completely filled in. The geometric design of the cover is exactly the same in the cover taken in Youngstown but this is no longer part of the Bell System but the parent company AT&T. Both of these covers were found in the middle of a sidewalk. If you come across any covers that are blog worth, take a picture and tweet it to me @nikki_vz or email firstname.lastname@example.org to be featured in an upcoming post! Manhole cover lovers unite!
