Today’s post are two storm sewer covers that both boast the city they are found in. There’s something about the design of the one found in Albuquerque that totally fits the feel of the city. Even though the majority of the signage and type that I found there follows more of a geometric pattern, the design of this cover is right at home. I love the simplicity of the circles. In Fredericksburg, it’s all about the diamond pattern. Here is another drain I found a few blocks away that has the same information but a different layout: The best part of the cover (to me) is this little guy of to the side: The placement reminds me of a Registration Mark (®) that is found right near a logo. Don’t throw your trash down the drain or that crab’ll getcha!
