I have always loved this image from Tequis. The bronze 3 marking someone’s home paired with the utility meter. It’s all so random and makes for such a striking image. The photo taken in Stow has got to be one of the best typographic arrangements I’ve seen for a fire station. The stainless steel letters on brick; the way the 3 drops below the baseline; the change in weight. It’s all so well done. I think it’d be safe to say there wasn’t much thought put into the arrangement in the picture on the left. The opposite is true for the picture on the right. Both are equally beautiful.
