random sculptures

Ahhhh, what’s not to love?!

I used to drive by ‘pollo loco’ as the kids would call him, 3 days a week taking the kids to their daycare when we lived in Lexington. One day we stopped so the kids could ‘pet’ him. This is my favorite picture of the ones we took because my daughter’s ponytail is freakishly the same as pollo loco’s red comb (that was not planned). Love it!

The picture from Akron was taken a few weekend’s ago. This sculpture/monument (?!) is in someone’s front yard in a neighborhood. I have seen several of these around town and have yet to find out their meaning…but this is the first one I have spotted on someone’s personal property…guarded by a dog…
